Megohmmeters / Insulation Testers

A megohmmeter is an electrical test instrument used to test extremely high resistances commonly encountered in electric motor winding, generators or the insulation on wire. Insulation testers are similar in that they perform the same basic measuring function that the megohmmeter does; however, the insulation testers can also measure voltage and current.
